TGIF!... And welcome to another blog post from the empowered team, GET3000. In today's blog post we will cover how living a totally conceptualized, metaphorically derived, artistic lifestyle can lead you on your way to Freedom & Empowerment.

How many times have you heard a line in a song that you thought was so real that it  somehow it was magically fitting for your life right then and there as you heard it? I can say that I have done that plenty of times. I have even been out and about an heard people conversing about how they want to do or are doing this and that... and it feels as if they are talking directly to me. As a freedom artist, you become empowered and trained in your thinking to move with the now in time instead of heavy predictions or ideas. The moment that you are in the NOW of time... it relinquishes all doubt about the future because you become present in the moment and the past remains the past and the future is too far away to adhere to. While being empowered bridges the gap between bondage and freedom, a freestyle artist knows they have to cross that bridge into his or her desired freedom form.

When we talk about being a "freedom artist," we are not only talking about the ability to recite witty lines over a banging track, or that we concentrate on a special discipline, or order of things. We are talking about being reality architects and building empowered ideas and concepts. Over time we have learned how to creatively adapt to the changes in the wind and just flow. Although this took years of practice, we are still only novice in the sport. Sometimes our intentions get the best of us and we have to start over again, but this is the power of persistence. Least we are also learning how coupling with consistency, there adds a greater abundance to a freestyle lifestyle.

The Enchanting Power of a FreeStyle LifeStyle ~ GET Empowered

Whether you are a person who loves bending the universe by the theory of belief, or just walking in the presence as a introverted pessimist, the world around you is favoring how empowered you are with your flow. What this means is that what ever it is that we wrap our minds around the tightest... the more we are in the flow with that thought.

Being a family of 5 does not warrant my husband and I to have days free from chaos and uncertainty, especially with three boys, all under the age six, all while in our mid to late 30's. We are still young and free enough to enjoy their quirks and also pose a strong idea of relative discipline. Let's say for example: Your child is learning to write the alphabet. You are so happy to get to this stage and one day out of the blue you child say's, "Look mommy, I can write an H." When you stop to take a look, it's written in five different colors as large as they could write it, on the wall of a common area in your house. What do you do? Well I'll tell you what we did... We celebrated our son and told him how proud of him we were that he could now write the letter "H." Some children might get scolded for this type of freestyle learning. Who knows if we would have more murals to look at if we could teach about the positive notions of "the writing on the walls," by empowering such behavior... Thus living the life of a free-styler...

Value of the Summation!

The true value of you summed up in a week...

Thanks once again for joining us on our weekly journey and today in this session of "Saturday's Summation". We started out "Setting It Off" on Sunday, "Mobilizing our Motives" on Monday, The Kitchentician chopped up "Techniques" with you on Tuesday, Workout Wednesday was a literal pain in the butt for the ladies... Lol, get ya squat on girlz ... Thursday's Throwback was a fruitful trip to our very 1st blog, and  Freestyle Friday   was a reminder to all of why we owe it to ourselves to live our lives in the realm of true FREEDOM.

A problem(real life or arithmetic) or situation cannot be solved (valued) without the summ (summation or resolution).

The value of our progression is the main thing that we have taken from this week. One of our main setbacks in our forward movement is our consistency... The end to insanity starts now for us because the focus has been set in place. Our aim in staying committed to this blog and the MOVEMENT of GET3000, has become as important (or more) as getting up to go and clock in for someone daily to support our household. The messages that are delivered day to day and week to week are doing their jobs for us, while on the quest to be the most dedicated vessels, which GOD intended us to be. The true reward comes in the reception that is displayed from our family and frie---... I'll just leave it at that. "Our Family" (under God, as we are all brothers and sisters in that light) has showed the support and dedication needed to continue on this Underground Railroad-ish elevation that we've embarked upon.

Our value is in THE UNDERGROUND RAILROAD??? Did he just say that? "YES I DID" ("me)

So yes, that is a Shotgun on ya back. Please don't try to turn around now, because there is value in the spirit of Harriet, and it might just come out. Lol... Just Serious. We have a responsibility to keep growing and knowing our TRUE VALUE. We cannot allow ourselves to stand still any longer and allow the cancerous, redundant, cattle herding mentality, which has put us in this hole to climb out of. Thus begin to affect our children and the generation that will truly live as free spirits. This is the re-kindled mind set that our business and household will thrive on from here on out, which is ready and available to us all.

Thank you for staying tuned to our weekly theme of life and joining us today on "A Stroll 2 The MELbox" with VoiceMEL.  A wise friend long ago advised me "Mel you can stand strong all alone no doubt, but when you realize the part you play in the forest you'll be unstoppable." At first this had to sink in to me, but coupled with my long time fascination for trees and their unshaken dedication to be the vessel that GOD intended for them to be, it quickly became a focus of mine to fulfill my duty to OVERSTAND this empowerment.

 I looked closely at each network opportunity that I had, as an opportunity to close the gap between me and my success.  

I knew that if I was to form a solid link as my part in this forest (network), I had to focus on the people that I was putting myself in contact with. I did learn a lot from tuning into this line of connecting and building myself as a business. The bottom line though was the message my good friend Mr. Ken Sagoes was blessing me with was simply not setting in clearly. Well needless to say after all the connections I had made and my endless efforts at networking to build my forrest... "My ship was NOT- comin in"( in my K'Jon voice).

The message was coming in crystal clear now though...

I started to understand that the forest or my network had been building all along the family members and friends that have always supported me; the new friends and fellow soldiers of God that I have been blessed to sharpen swords with along the way; the veterans, leaders, and history changers of the entertainment, philanthropy, and activism worlds that I've shaken hands with or been giving their blessing to carry on further the torch that they have carried to lead the way for GODS' people; the children that are able to smile after an encounter that gave them a picture of a strong family man who loves just on the premise of that being Gods way... I have learned to honor and hold true the position that I have been placed in because I know RIGHT NOW my purpose- to this forest, to this network that we call our human race. I have a duty to be a perfect puzzle piece to this picture of our perfect world.

How To Turn Your Homeschool Modle Into Income

Using Social Media To Promote Your Community Homeschool

It is not difficult within today’s community of social media tribes to generate a following. What does matter is what is it that you desire to socially promote that will engage followers. Whether it is a niche, a product, a way of living, or personal interest, there is someone out there looking to become your audience. Within this particular blog post we will be discussing how to monetize you homeschool model or curriculum.

There is such an open market here today as it relates to the idea of homeschooling. With so many influences outside of the home, many families are opt-ing in to the homeschool education model. Be that there are various ways that a family can homeschool their child or children options are limitless. Some families even choose to un-school their children, which is a topic set aside for a whole different post. So let’s stay on task…

Just how popular is homeschool

Homeschooling education has been increasingly appealing to a broader audience. The ranks of home-schooled students swelled to more than 2 million last year, by some research estimates, compared with about 850,000 home schooled a decade ago.

“It’s a mainstream option now for most Americans,” said Brian Ray, president of the National Home Education Research Institute, which compiled the latest home school data.

With the overwhelming popularity of the homeschooling trend, it would be safe to say that there is a market for generating income. Families have the ability to teach others of the community, their developing concepts or models of how to educate their children.

The homeschool option is no longer looked upon as a form of weird isolation of the traditional educational system. Homeschooling resonated more with certain religious values but is now crossing over into the secular arena.  It actually has a highly visible audience because, not only does it strengthen familial ties, but it also gives parents a better idea of how to help their children academically. The parents are also able to channel in on the interest of their children and not just focus on academics.

With this form of education being on the forefront, there are support groups, sports, performing arts, and an array of other activities, that keeps them developing socially.

As a home-schooling family, a typical day for us begins at 8:30 am, sometimes 9:00 am and ends around 1:00 pm. Being that we have three boys, ages 5, 3, and 8-weeks, our best option is to homeschool, because of the flexibility it lends us. Our busiest day’s are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The bulk of work for our kindergartener is done online, through a community charter school, which is 100% FREE. Many people are under the impression that in order to homeschool their children, it makes a dent in the budget, when it can actually increase ones earning potential.

Being at home with our children,  has been the greatest investment that we have ever made. It takes a strong foundation and commitment, to develop a solid and workable plan of action. That is why we chose to enroll our oldest son in an online program for now. This allows us to experiment with the idea of a virtual classroom setting and build relationships with other homeschooling families abroad.

Now for our pre-schooler we use our very own SOIL Curriculum, with the vision of opening our own international, grassroots academy, within the coming year. Within the concept of the SOIL Curriculum, we aim to provide an experience that engages early literacy skills, while also empowering creative genisus. Behind this program our 5-year-old is reading on a 4th grade level, he is now doing multiplication and division. Whereas our 3-year-old is beginning to read and take on addition and subtraction.

Our belief system is simple. Children Learn What They Live…

Does homeschooling has it’s challenges? Yes. But as for our house, we focus on it’s benefits. Because at the end of the day, we are at peace about getting an early start on how our children will fair over academically. We have no anxieties about sending them into a world of grades, tests, outdated curriculum, and stifling structures.

We work from home so that we can maintain the bond of what family means to us. We want to be the greatest point of influence within the eyes of our children.  We want to be there to take part in projects and ideas. We want to acknowledge even the smallest of accomplishments. All in all, we’ve chosen this rout to commit to them as our responsibility as parent and teacher…

Homeschool is where the heart is.
